A main contractor specialising in the multidisciplinary rail projects, work includes Civils, electrification, power signaling, telecommunications and track. This company is looking to further drive its expansion by the addition of talented individuals who can contribute significantly in the region, but more importantly show the potential to contribute to more senior positions within the diversity of the group over the medium term.

 An opportunity exists for an experienced senior level Quantity Surveyor to head up the day to day operations of the surveying pool. Working as part of the wider commercial team, the successful applicant will be able to demonstrate that they have experience of providing expert commercial, technical, and contractual advice against multiple projects; delivering all commercial and financial gates in a timely and expedient manner. A key requirement is for a strong team manager who is able to both provide leadership but also work collaboratively with the team to ensure outstanding results.

 The successful candidate will be an outstanding leader, with strong inter-personal skills and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels within the organisation. You will provide a demonstrable background of creating strong financial and commercial compliance across multiple concurrent projects; whilst providing coaching, mentoring and development of your staff. You will be commercially astute and use your surveying experience to underpin an innovative business methodology focused on driving financial growth, cost efficiency and an outstanding customer experience.
